Taylor, Walker & Co Takeover Trail
- 1896: Curtis Gin Distillery, Mile End.
- 1900-1901: John Furze & Co, Whitechapel, and was closed.
- 1912: Highbury Brewery Ltd with about 40 public houses and was closed.
- July 1927: Smith, Garrett & Co. Ltd, Bow, and was closed.
- 1929: Victoria Wine with 84 off-licences.
- January 1930: Glenny's Brewery Ltd, Barking with 15 pubs and was closed.
- 1930: Cannon Brewery Co. Ltd of Clerkenwell with about 600 pubs. Brewing continued here until 1955.
- 1934: Chelmsford Brewery (Wells & Perry) Ltd, with 72 public houses. Brewery demolished 1936.
- 1948: Bushell, Watkins & Smith Ltd, Westerham, with over 100 pubs. Ceased brewing 1965. Premises used as depot until demolished November 1989.
- April 1956: David Stevenson (Beers and Minerals), Paisley.
- September 1956: Chesham & Brackley Breweries Ltd Brewing ceased at Chesham 1957 and Brackley 1959.
- 1957: Ward & Son Ltd of Foxearth with 31 tied houses. The brewery was repurchased by the Ward family from Ind Coope Ltd in 1960.
