Founded 1848. Acquired by [[Mew, Langton & Co. Ltd]] in 1920. Edward Sweetman was also at [[Anglesea Brewery (Ryde)]], and he took over [[Louisa Lake (Eagle Brewery)]].

Henry Charles & Walter Sweetman, George Street Brewery, Ryde, Isle of Wight

Founded 1848. Acquired by Mew, Langton & Co. Ltd in 1920, and demolished in 1935 to make way for the new Commodore Cinema. It marked the end of breweries in the town.

Edward Sweetman was also at Anglesea Brewery (Ryde), and he took over Louisa Lake (Eagle Brewery).
