Founded about 1720 by Rivers Dickinson. Registered January 1895 with 110 public houses.

Acquired by [[Taylor, Walker & Co. Ltd]]. 1930 but brewing continued until 1955 and was converted into a distillery and bonded warehouse in 1959 partly used by Allied Breweries.
* [[Holt & Co (East Ham)]]. Acquired in October 1912 with 27 public houses.
* [[Clutterbuck & Co]] of Harrow. Acquired in 1923 with 84 tied houses.
* [[Salter & Co. Ltd]] of Rickmansworth. ‎ Acquired in 1924 with 76 tied houses and was closed.
* [[Christie & Co. Ltd]] of Hoddesdon. Acquired in 1927 with 159 tied houses.

Cannon Brewery Co. Ltd, 160 St John Street, Clerkenwell, London EC1.

Founded about 1720 by Rivers Dickinson. Registered January 1895 with 110 public houses. They acquired the following breweries before being taken over themselves:
