Wickwar Brewing Co, The Old Brewery, Station Road, Wickwar, Gloucestershire.

Founded by Brian Rides and Ray Penny in 1990 in a former cooperage of the former Arnold, Perrett & Co. Ltd premises. The brewing plant was from Total Brewing Services of Worcester. Its first beer was "Brand Oak Bitter" or "BOB".

In 2004, they moved from the former cooper's shop into a new 50-barrel brewery in the old Arnold, Perrett brewhouse itself.

The brewery established a small pub estate, including:

  1. Downend Tavern, 125 Downend Road, Fishponds, Bristol
  2. Foresters Arms / Gloucester Road Ale House, 99 Gloucester Road, Bristol
  3. Jersey Lily, 193 Whiteladies Road, Bristol (ex Ushers)
  4. Old Castle Green / Plume of Feathers, Old Market, Bristol
  5. Princess of Wales, 1 Westbourne Road, Bedminster, Bristol
  6. Punchbowl, 23 Old Market Street, Bristol (ex Rogers, then Courage). See: Punchbowl, Bristol
  7. Star, Market Street, Wotton Under Edge (ex Whitbread)
  8. White Lion, Colston Avenue, Bristol (ex Courage)

In 2017, they acquired Mole's Brewery and its pub estate.

In 2021, they announced that the brewery had closed. The pub estate was to be retained, and their beer range would be contract-brewed.
