Acquired by [[Eldridge, Pope & Co. Ltd]]. in 1912 and the Marnhull brewery and 5 tied houses were transferred to [[Hall & Woodhouse Ltd]]. 1937.
The Tisbury Brewery was founded 1868 by Archibald Beckett and rebuilt in 1885. Acquired by [[Jennings Styring White & Co]] of Marnhull in 1888-1889. Dissolved by 1901 leaving Frederick Henry Slade Styring as sole owner.  


Acquired with 32 houses by [[Eldridge, Pope & Co. Ltd]] in 1912 and the Marnhull brewery. Five houses were transferred to [[Hall & Woodhouse Ltd]] in 1913.

F H S & T W Styring, Wiltshire Brewery, Church Street, Tisbury, Wiltshire and Marnhull, Dorset

The Tisbury Brewery was founded 1868 by Archibald Beckett and rebuilt in 1885. Acquired by Jennings Styring White & Co of Marnhull in 1888-1889. Dissolved by 1901 leaving Frederick Henry Slade Styring as sole owner.

Acquired with 32 houses by Eldridge, Pope & Co. Ltd in 1912 and the Marnhull brewery. Five houses were transferred to Hall & Woodhouse Ltd in 1913.

Some buildings remain.

Sold to Eldridge, Pope & Co. Ltd. 1900 with 34 public houses for £81,200. Brewing ceased 1905.
