First brewed in June 1996.


Brewing commenced in 1996 within the former Devenish Brewery at Weynouth. Name changed to [[Dorset Brewing Company]] in 2004.
Name as the Quay Brewery in the former [[Devenish & Co. Ltd]] and [[Groves & Sons Ltd]] brewery. A 5 barrel brewplant was used.  


When the Brewers Quay development was vacated, the brewery relocated to an industrial estate in Dorchester.
During the early part of 2004 the name was changed to [[Dorset Brewing Company]], which moved to Dorchester in 2011.

During the early part of 2004 the name was changed to Dorset Brewing Company, which moved to Dorchester in 2011.
