* [[Hipwell & Co]], Olney, Buckinghamshire, was acquired in 1920.
* [[Manning & Co. Ltd]], Castle Brewery, Black Lion Hill, Northampton acquired in 1933 with 43 public houses.
* [[Campbell Praed & Co. Ltd]], Wellingborough, acquired with 107 houses in 1954 and brewing ceased 1955.


After the merger with the [[Northampton Brewery Co. Ltd]]. in 1957 became Phipps Northampton Brewery Co. Ltd.  
Acquired by [[Watney Mann Ltd]]. 1960 with 1,171 houses and the name was changed as above in 1964. Ceased brewing in 1972 and demolished prior to the building of the [[Carlsberg Brewery Ltd]] plant.

Phipps Brewery Ltd, 122 Bridge Street, Northampton, Northamptonshire.

Founded 1801 at Towcester by Pickering Phipps. Brewing began at Northampton in 1817. New brewery built at Towcester 1874. Registered September 1881 as Pickering Phipps & Co (Northampton & Towcester Breweries) Ltd.
