This pub was built in 1933 to the designs of Sydney Clarke, for [[Hoare & Co. Ltd]]. Shortly afterwards, Hoares were acquired by [[Charrington & Co. Ltd]] and the pub came into Charrington's ownership.

This pub was built in 1933 to the designs of Sydney Clarke, for Hoare & Co. Ltd. Shortly afterwards, Hoares were acquired by Charrington & Co. Ltd and the pub came into Charrington's ownership.
