Founded 1720. Brewing on this site from 1840s. Registered as above 1888. Bought in 1895 with 7 houses by the Burton Brewery Co. Ltd. and ceased brewing. Brewery buildings demolished 1920s, frontage remains on Bridge Street.

Bought in 1895 with seven houses by the [[Burton Brewery Co. Ltd]] and ceased brewing. In 1915 came into the ownership of [[Worthington & Co. Ltd]]. Brewery buildings demolished 1920s, but the frontage house remains on Bridge Street. A blue plaque records: "Built ca. 1760 by Samuel Sketchley a brewer, and later occupied by Joseph Nunneley's Brewery".

Civic Society plaque on the front of the building

J Nunneley & Co, Bridge Street Brewery, 22 Bridge Street, Burton-upon-Trent, Staffordshire.

Founded 1720 (although the date of foundation is uncertain). Joseph Nunneley was brewing on this site from the 1840s. Registered as above 1888.
