McGeorge & Heppenstalls Ltd, Albion Brewery, William Street, Newark on Trent, Nottinghamshire.
About 1847, Christopher Heppenstall (1811-1872) acquired land on a newly developed street, William Street, and built a brewery. On the corner of Balderton Gate, he built a tap, the Eagle Tavern, plus a house for himself, and four cottages.
After the first Chistopher's death, his sons and then his grandsons ran the business
Registered 1887 as Heppenstalls Ltd and the name was changed as above 1892.
Acquired by Warwicks & Richardsons Ltd. 1892 and brewing ceased 1895.

Eagle House, 115 Balderton Gate, Newark-on-Trent was the brewer's house for Christopher Heppenstall's Albion Brewery, which was nearly adjacent:
