Frank Jones Nash, The White Horse Public House and brewery, Harlow, Essex.

Mr F.J. Nash brewed at this public house from at least 1842 until his death in 1879 to be followed by Frederick William Blunt, who brewed up to 1889.

Hawkes & Co of Bishops Stortford took over the concern in 1842.

A Jones Gifford Nash of Bishops Stortford was known as a common brewer prior to 1842 and up until 1877. Prior to Frank Nash brewing at the White Horse, the premises were known as a beershop with Ann Prior, aged 70, the licensee in 1841. She had two lodgers who worked in the nearby brickfields, and a neighbour, James Foster, aged 59, became the licensee in 1851.

The public house has traded as an [[Ind Coope Ltd] house, but there are no longer any signs of brewing outbuildings.
