Barnsley Brewery Co. Ltd, Oakwell Brewery, Pontefract Road, Barnsley, South Yorkshire.

Founded by Guy Senior 1857. Registered August 1888 to acquire Paul and Guy Senior.

Acquired by John Smith's Tadcaster Brewery Co. Ltd in 1961 with 250 public houses. Following John Smith's takeover by Courage, and the latter's takeover by Imperial Tobacco in 1972, Barnsley Brewery was closed on 27th March 1976.

Parts of the brewery survive. The site is used as light industrial and commercial units. Parts were occupied by the Oakwell Brewery between 1997 and 2013.
