Founded 1820.  
Listed in 1800 as Thomas Arnold, who died in 1853. The business was continued by his son Thomas Jnr and son-in-law Thomas Halsey, trading as Arnold & Co. Halsey became a partner in 1876 and in 1884 control passed to his sons Arnold and William. Registered as Arnold & Co Ltd in June 1886 to acquire Arnold & Co and [[E & B Trimmer (Gloucester)]]. A new brewery was built near the station to replace 34 High Street.  


Registered June 1886 to acquire Arnold & Co. and E.& B.Trimmer of Gloucester as Arnold & Co. Ltd. Name changed as above 1887 when H.& A.Perrett of Wotton-under-Edge was acquired with 325 tied houses. 40 public houses sold to [[Bristol Brewery Georges & Co. Ltd]]. 1917.  
* In 1887, they merged with H & A Perrett’s [[Bournstream Brewery]] of Wotton-under-Edge and registered as above, with 325 tied houses.
* [[James & Henry Hill]]'s Sun Brewery, Gloucester was acquired in 1889.
* The [[Tewkesbury Brewery Co. Ltd]] was acquired in 1896.


Merged with the [[Cheltenham Original Brewery Co. Ltd]]. 1924 and brewing ceased.

Arnold, Perrett & Co. Ltd, High Street and Station Road, Wickwar, Gloucestershire
