A & T Sibeth, Crown Brewery, Fontmell Magna, Dorset.
Founded 1780.
Before it was acquired by Sibeth, it was occupied by the Flowers family, an important brewing dynasty.
Ceased brewing 14th December 1904 and was sold with 21 public houses for £25,410, the houses being sold piecemeal to a total of 8 local brewers including Hall & Woodhouse Ltd, Baxter & Sons (Dorset) and Marston's Dolphin Brewery Ltd.
Still standing amongst reproduction properties.
The brewery features in The Noted Breweries of Great Britain and Ireland by Alfred Barnard published 1890.
