Miners Arms (Chapel House), 28 Ruiton Street, Lower Gornal, West Midlands

Originally the Chapel House, it was renamed Miners Arms in about 1891, but reverted to its original name in 2013.

A historic home-brew pub. Benjamin Smith 1875-1876; Charles Evans 1891-1892; John Hickman 1892-1906; Enoch Smart (Lower Gornal) 1912-1934.

Then John Seedhouse & Sons Ltd. Bought by Thomas Booth, owner of the Corbyns Hall Brewery in June 1949.

Acquired by Holden's Brewery Ltd, 30 September 1955. Still trading.
