- Playne & Sons of Minchinhampton was acquired in 1897 with 30 tied houses.
- Carpenter & Co of Gloucester was acquired in 1909.
- Charles Richard Luce of Malmesbury was acquired in 1912.
- Warn & Sons Ltd of Tetbury was acquired in 1913.
- N. & W. Cook, of Tetbury was acquired in 1913 with 33 public houses.
- Smith & Sons Ltd of Thrupp were acquired in 1919.
- Duck & Co of Malmesbury was acquired in 1920 with 22 public houses.
- William Stephen Butler (Avebury) was acquired in 1920 with 11 houses.
- Godsell & Sons Ltd of Stroud were acquired in 1928.
- Alton Court Brewery Co. Ltd of Ross-on-Wye in 1956.
- In 1957, jointly with Usher's of Trowbridge, they acquired Frome & Lamb Ltd with 300 pubs.
They merged with Cheltenham & Hereford Breweries Ltd in 1958 to form West Country Breweries Ltd.
