Archers Ales Ltd, Station Industrial Estate, London Street, Swindon, Wiltshire
Founded in June 1979 by Mark Wallington and ceased here in 1996 when the brewery moved premises.
Archers Ales Ltd, Penzance Drive, Swindon, Wiltshire
Brewing commenced in 1996 following the move.
The site was a re-creation of a Victorian tower brewery in the old locomotive weighing house of the old Swindon Locomotive Works. It was purchased by pub owning group Burns Leisure in 1999 and for a period in 2000 took on the brewing of the group owned Hoskins Ltd beers.
Following the collapse of the group the original owner took control once more. The brewery closed in March 2009.
Part of the site later used by Weighbridge Brewhouse.
