The Tisbury Brewery was founded 1868 by Archibald Beckett and rebuilt in 1885. Acquired by Jennings Styring White & Co of Marnhull in 1888-1889. Dissolved by 1901 leaving Frederick Henry Slade Styring as sole owner.
Acquired with 32 houses by Eldridge, Pope & Co. Ltd in 1912 and the Marnhull brewery. Five houses were transferred to Hall & Woodhouse Ltd in 1913.
Some buildings remain.
Styring & Co, Poole Brewery, Towngate Street, Poole, Dorset.
Sold to Eldridge, Pope & Co. Ltd. 1900 with 34 public houses for £81,200. Brewing ceased 1905.
Demolished 1981.
