The site was a re-creation of a Victorian tower brewery in the old locomotive weighing house of the old Swindon Locomotive Works. It was purchased by pub owning group Burns Leisure in 1999 and for a period in 2000 took on the brewing of the group owned [[Hoskins Ltd]] beers.

* The Kemble Brewery Inn, 27 Fairview Street, Cheltenham, Glos.
* The Carters Rest, 57 High Street, Wroughton, Swindon, Wiltshire.
 
In administration 2007 and 2009. The brewery closed in March 2009. Part of the site later used by [[Weighbridge Brewhouse]].

Founded in June 1979 by Mark Wallington and ceased here in 1996 when the brewery moved premises.

At some time, the brewery owned or leased:
