Wye Valley Brewery Ltd, Stoke Lacy, Herefordshire HR7 4HG
Founded in May 1985 at the Nags Head, Canon Pyon, Herefordshire, when the business of the Abbey Brewery, Torworth, Notts was moved there. (See also Canon Pyon Brewery)
In 1986, they moved to the old stable block of The Barrels (formerly The Lamb Hotel), 69 St Owen Street, Hereford, this becoming their first tied house. The premises were the former home of the Lamb Hotel Brewery.
They brewed at The Barrels from 1986, but brewing ceased in 2001 when they moved to Stoke Lacy. Brewing commenced in the old Symonds Cider factory at Stoke Lacy in 2002 following the move from Hereford.
