Wells & Winch Ltd, Church Street, Biggleswade, Bedfordshire
Founded by Samuel Wells 1764. Registered April 1899 to acquire Wells & Co. and 109 tied houses. Acquired by Greene King & Sons Ltd 1961 with 287 public houses. Closed in 1997 and brewery demolished.

- A S Thackray, Lion Brewery, Buckden: acquired ca.1900
- John Holden, Henlow Brewery: acquired 1900 with 10 public houses
- Baldock Brewery Ltd: acquired 1904 with 22 tied houses and brewing ceased
- Day & Son, St Neots: brewery and 42 houses acquired 1919
- J R Page & Co, Westbury Brewery: acquired 1921 with 26 tied houses
- Newland & Nash Ltd, Steam Brewery, 22 Lurke Street, Bedford: acquired 1922 with 75 tied houses
- Higgins & Sons Ltd, Castle Brewery, Castle Lane, Bedford: acquired 1928 with 55 public houses
- Philip Llewellyn Hudson, Pampisford Brewery and Ekin’s Brewery: acquired 1931 with 68 houses
- E J Wickham, Mill Bridge Brewery: acquired April 1938 with 7 tied houses and the brewery was closed
- George Scales, Cambridge Brewery: acquired 1938
- Silas Barker, Bluecoat Brewery: acquired 1952
