Talbot Brewery, High Street, Wem, Shropshire
The Talbot Brewery was located behind the Talbot Vaults public house, on High Street nearly opposite New Street. William Hall & Co owned the Talbot brewery in 1895, and in 1898 they acquired the Noble Street brewery of Charles Kynaston (Wem) and merged with the Circus Brewery (Shrewsbury) to form Shrewsbury & Wem Brewery Co. Ltd.
The Talbot Brewery was then closed in 1900 and brewing transferred to Kynaston's former brewery.
The Talbot pub was demolished in the 1960s and replaced by a supermarket.
