John Barras & Co, Tyne Brewery, Bath Lane, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Tyne & Wear

The new Tyne Brewery of the failed Bells, Robson & Co was bought by Barras & Co of Gateshead, and the partnership converted to a limited company in 1889.

In 1890, Barras & Co became part of the newly-formed Newcastle Breweries Ltd.
