East Street Brewery (Poole)

East Street Brewery, 7 East Street, Poole, Dorset

It became the Pure Drop Inn. Later owned by Eldridge Pope & Co.

Originated as the East Street Brewery, built in around 1831 and in operation for brewing until 1860. Maps from the late C19 and early C20 show adjacent malthouses. It was in use as a pub until the 2010s, following which it was converted into two residential units, involving reconfiguration of the principal elevation, demolition of the rear range, and internal reordering and subdivision.
