Butterknowle Brewery

Butterknowle Brewery, The Old School House, Lynesack, Butterknowle, Durham.

Established 1990 by John Constable and Terry Sutton, in a disused school house, using kit from the former New Forest Brewery.

Brewing ceased 1998. Castle Eden Brewery bought the brands.

In 2002, the plant was re-used at the Darwin Brewery.
