Bishop / Peach Spital Malting, Trent Lane, Newark on Trent, Nottinghamshire

Built by R Bishop & Son in 1881. The architect was George Sheppard, the borough surveyor.

1937: acquired by R Peach & Company of Burton upon Trent. Peach also had maltings in Albert Street (1939) and Cow Lane (1937 to late 1950s).

September 1980: malting ceased. The site is now part of the Northgate Retail Park.
