Ballards Brewery, Unit C, The Old Sawmill, Nyewood, West Sussex

Brewing commenced by Mike Brown in July 1980 in a cow shed at Cumbers Farm, Trotton, West Sussex.

In 1985, the brewery moved to Ballards Pub, Elsted, West Sussex where it was installed in the pub stables. This was formerly the Railway Inn, a Gale's house, built in 1860 to serve the now-closed railway.

In 1988, they moved to their final premises in their third location at Nyewood.

Following the retirement of Carola Brown, brewing ceased in 2018. The kit was sold to a brewer in Serbia, and the brands to Greyhound Brewery in West Chiltington.
