James Adnams & Son, Eagle Brewery, 24/26 Broadway, Speenhamland, Newbury, Berkshire

Founded 1809; sold to James Adnams 1885. Acquired by H & G Simonds Ltd of Reading in 1936 with three public houses. Some remains at No.24/26.

Oxford Archaeology carried out a programme of historic building investigation and recording on two adjoining structures at The Old Brewery in Newbury, West Berkshire prior to their conversion to offices.
