Founded 1868.

Acquired by Lacon & Co. Ltd. 1896 with over 50 tied houses and was closed in 1965 and was later demolished.


William Henry Apthorpe, Victoria Brewery, Albert (later Napier) Street, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire.

Brewery built by William Henry Apthorpe senior c.1830.

Leased to a series of brewers until bought by the Star Brewery (Cambridge) Ltd. in 1891.

Demolished 1983.
