William Chapman, The Peacock, 20 Queen Street, Hitchin, Hertfordshire.
A home brew house in operation 1845-1902. On 3rd June 1903 the Peacock Brewery and pub were sold, with the brewery realising £1,000. Acquired by the Herts & Essex Public House Trust in October 1906.
