From 1888 to 1894 traded as House and Stones. Around 1897 it was bought with some 12 pubs by [[Warwicks & Richardsons Ltd]], who then sold the brewery to [[Cutlack & Co. Ltd]], who moved their operations here. Brewing ceased by 1923.
