T & R Theakston Ltd, Red Lane, Masham, North Yorkshire.

Founded by Robert Theakston 1827.

Present brewery built 1875. Registered March 1905.

Acquired by Matthew Brown & Co. Ltd. July 1984 and later controlled by Scottish & Newcastle Breweries Ltd.

In 2003, sold back to the Theakston family.
