Founded 1865. Croft-an-Righ Brewery acquired 1874.

Registered May 1888. Greenhead Brewery sold to James Calder & Co. (Brewers) Ltd. in 1946.

Acquired by Vaux Breweries Ltd. 1959 with 16 public houses.

Ceased brewing 1960.


Steel, Coulson & Co. Ltd, 80 Canning Street, Glasgow, Strathclyde.

Brewery established late C18th and registered as above 1888. Closed 1933.
