St.Austell Brewery Co. Ltd, Trevarthian Road, St Austell, Cornwall.

Formed by a merger of Walter Hicks & Co. Ltd and Christopher Ellis & Son Ltd of Hayle 1934.

Walter Hicks was founded as wine merchants 1851 and began brewing 1860.

New site leased and brewery built in 1893. Still brewing with 150 public houses.

Original site now Tregonissey House.
