Robinson Brothers (Brewers) Ltd, City Brewery, Durham Road , Houghton-le-Spring , Tyne & Wear .

Founded 1754.

Traded as Robinson Bros and Howe until George Howe's death in 1892 and registered 1894 as above.

Acquired jointly by Vaux Breweries Ltd and James Calder & Co. (Brewers) Ltd. of Alloa 1925 with 63 tied houses and was closed.

Now residential flats.
