Plews & Sons Ltd, Vale of Mowbray Brewery, Leeming, North Yorkshire.

Founded here in 1795 by Henry Plews.

Acquired by Cameron & Co. Ltd. in 1925 with about 100 public houses.

Premises were later used as a bacon factory.


Plews & Sons Ltd, 4 Houndgate, Darlington, Durham.

Although listed here as brewers in 1905, this seems always to have been offices for the brewery at Leeming.
