Founded by Brian Brett August 1981 at the Two Brewers off-licence. Sold to Rob Jones 1982 and renamed the Beer Shop. Moved to Hoxton Square 1986. Merged with [[Premier Midland Ales]] 1990 and brewing was to be transferred to Stourbridge. However, after financial difficulties brewing recommenced here.

Local council made staying in Hoxton untenable. After using the Custom Brewery on a contract basis for a while moved out of town and in August 2006 commenced brewing here.

Moved to North Weald in 2007.

Brewing commenced 2007 following move from Great Horkesley. Epping Brewery Co is used for its non-organic products.

In 2012 became Dominion but latter now brewed at Red Fox Brewery.
