The demolition of the Stag Brewery, Pimlico, in 1959

On 23rd April 1959, the Stag Brewery brewed its last batch of ale. The brewery was closed down with production switching to other sites.

During 1960 and 1961 a new development consisting of office block, shops and flats was constructed.

This new development has since been demolished and the whole area substantially redeveloped.
