Philanthropist & Firkin, 11-13 Victoria Street, St Albans, Hertfordshire AL1 3JJ

A former library building, by F G W Dudley in 1911. Converted by Allied to the PHILANTHROPIST & FIRKIN, the name reflecting Carnegie's association with the building.

Brewing commenced 1994 utilising a full-mash 5-barrel plant.

Brewing ceased 1999 when the Firkin chain was sold to Punch Taverns.
