Brewing commenced at Westgate in 1998. The conversion of a former employment exchange, this is a large brewpub, with the brewery prominently located behind glass walls. Following the opening of the brewery at Maxwell Road, it is thought that this brewery is still used for small batch brews.

In 2006 they opened their brewery at 2 Maxwell Road, Woodston.

(1) Oakham Brewery, 12-13 Midland Court, Station Approach, Oakham, Rutland

Brewing commenced at Oakham in 1993 but ceased 1998 when brewery moved to Peterborough.
