Northern Clubs Federation Brewery Ltd, Federation Brewery, Lancaster Road, Dunston , Newcastle-upon-Tyne , Tyne & Wear .

Founded at Alnwick 1919 when Smart's former brewery was acquired but this was found not to be in working order so brewing was transferred to Hedley Street, Newcastle where brewing began in March 1921. Name changed to above in 1926. Short lease on Hanover Square Brewery taken in 1927. Moved to the Hanover Street Brewery 1931.

New brewery opened at Dunston 1980.
