Originally registered April 1888 as the Hatcham Brewery Co. Ltd to acquire Charles Morgan & Co.

Dissolved October 1892 and was succeeded by the South Metropolitan Brewing & Bottling Co. Ltd registered January 1890, which was wound up 17th January 1891.

Registered as Burney's New Cross Brewery Ltd in December 1898 to acquire the business of George Burney.

Registered as above in September 1905. Had ceased brewing by 1911 and was taking its beers from the Lion Brewery Co. Ltd. Voluntary winding up on 17th April 1925 and the public houses were acquired by Hoare & Co. Ltd.
