Registered 1915.  
Founded 1727 and owned by the Isherwood family until 1786, when acquired by James Baverstock and Richard Ramsbottom. Bought by Nevile Reid of [[Meux's Brewery Co. Ltd]] in about 1837. Registered 1915. Nevile, Reid and Co were also bankers in Windsor, their business being acquired by Barclays in 1914.


Acquired by [[Noakes & Co. Ltd]]. 1918 with 140 tied houses.
