Hunts who were originally cider makers in Paignton, bought Lakemans from Astley & Harvey.

Sold to H.& G.Simonds Ltd. November 1937 with 50 tied houses.

Brewing transferred to Tamar Brewery.

Brewery demolished and bus station now occupies the site.
