Moor Hall Inn, 20 Elliott Street, Preston, Lancashire.

In 1909 Browns from Robert Hall, who stayed on as tenant and allowed some restricted brewing as long as he bought in two barrels per week from them.

In 1921 the Brewing Trades Review p297 reported the court case: Robert Hall brewed until 1916, when Brown's sold the plant. Browns took over all such tenant's plants at a valuation in order to get their allocation of brewing materials. Mr Crombleholme MD of Browns said that in the old days conditions in the licensing trade in Preston were peculiar. There were a great many free brewing houses and there was a lot of giving "We give a barrel, sell a barrel and strap a barrel". They lost the case for possession of the premises.

Stafford Wilkinson died November 1936 and his widow Rhoda was still brewing there in 1938.
