Founded c.1793. The Mauldon family owned these premises from at least 1868. The Stephen Spurgin business at the Bull, Church Street and Cross Street, Sudbury was bought by Mauldons in 1885. The White Hart, 59/60 Cross Street also brewed around 1850.
Established 1793. North Street brewery for sale 1868 John Clarke deceased, brewer over 50 years and his predecessors for 45 years.  


Fire destroyed most of the White Horse Brewery in 1900, but the brewery was rebuilt, and it continued brewing until 1960.
In 1873 mention of new brewery Mrs Anna Maria Mauldon.
 
In 1896 also at the Cross Street brewery which became the Angel brewery.
 
In 1900 the White Horse brewery was rebuilt after a fire.
 
Acquired with 26 or 28 tied houses. by [[Greene King & Sons Ltd]] in 1958 and closed.  


Acquired by [[Greene King & Sons Ltd]] with 28 houses in 1958. The brewery buildings were demolished but the offices are still standing.

Established 1793. North Street brewery for sale 1868 John Clarke deceased, brewer over 50 years and his predecessors for 45 years.
