Brewing commenced 2011 at Cwmcerrig Farm, Gorslas.

Brewing commenced in May 2011 by Iain Masson, who was previously at Greene King. Although in 2012 the plant was to be relocated to Cross Hands as the Kite Brewery.

Instead beers were contract brewed by Rhymney and the plant went to Portobello.
