King & Sons Ltd of North Street Brewery, merged with G H Barnes & Co, East Street Brewery in 1906 to form King & Barnes Ltd, when the East Street Brewery closed.

King & Barnes North Brewery was acquired by Hall & Woodhouse Ltd in 2000 with 55 houses and closed.
