Julia Hanson & Sons Ltd, 89 High Street, Dudley, West Midlands.
Founded in 1847 as a wine and spirit business in Priory Street. Acquired the Peacock Brewery in September 1895. Registered in October 1897.
Acquired by Wolverhampton & Dudley Breweries Ltd in 1943 with nearly 200 houses. The brewery's Bitter was then brewed in Wolverhampton, but Hanson's Mild continued to be brewed in Dudley.
The brewery closed in 1992.
