John Edward Groome, High Street, Hunton Bridge , King's Langley , Hertfordshire .

Founded 1767. Originally at the Rose and Crown which stood opposite. The owner retired 1897 and the brewery was sold by auction with 22 public houses to Benskins Ltd. for £64,000 in October 1897.
